KITAP'S Mini-Olympics 2008 |

 Ms. Amelia A. Rivera It’s has been the desire of the KITAP Board to pursue PNTG 2008 as traditionally done every year. However, as early as January 2008, they already had difficulty finding support from sponsors. It was then decided in the Board's planning session that a Mini-Olympic be conducted instead. This was set on June 6 & 7, 2008. The theme for the Mini-Olympics was “Lakas at Determinasyon…Tungo sa Kalusugan at Kaunlaran”.

 by Analyn Mongcal It has been a tradition for KITAP members to have a yearly summer outing. This year it was held at Tampisaw Resort in Iba, Zambales last May 17 and 18. We left NKTI on May 17 at 7:00 a.m. The sun was shining brightly that day. As soon as we left NKTI, we prayed the Holy Rosary which was led by Ms. Leny P. Torrecampo. It was 10:00 a.m. when we arrived at Subic. At the Duty Free shop, some of us bought chocolates, junk foods and other necessary things needed for our stay at the resort. We ate our lunch at Subic too. |

The officers of KITAP were inducted last January 25 in the presence of very special guests who inspired us to continue the good deeds we do and to be of service to all, especially to our members. We were also reminded to carry on the association’s vision and mission. After that, we invited all pharmaceutical companies who have been so generous and supportive of all our activities for the past years, and who continue providing support through the Patients’ Forum, Mini Olympics, Tribute to Donors and other KITAP activities. |
